Piper Cams has been designing and manufacturing high-performance camshafts since the 1960s, with customers including professional racing teams competing in the Formula 1 Championship, Le Mans Championship, World Touring Car Championship, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, Indy Car, the European Rally Cross Championship and more.

The experience gained during this time, along with our continued investment in the latest CNC and design technology has kept us at the forefront of profile design and manufacturing excellence.
All of our design work takes place at our 25,000sq/ft factory in Folkestone, where our climate-controlled inspection department allows for stable conditions to produce the precise measurements required to offer the very best camshaft/valve train analysis and design facility in the UK.

Our research and design department is continuously looking at the latest specifications from leading vehicle manufacturers as they advance engine technology, making modern engines lighter, more economical and more powerful.

By combining our experience from the high-performance and professional racing sector with the latest advances in everyday vehicles, we use modern design methods that have been developed in a competition environment to produce camshafts that not only give top performance results, but also give you confidence in reliability.

We offer bespoke camshaft design services using our Superflow measuring system, which allows us to assess the maximum airflow capacity of a cylinder head, aligning this with our accurate estimates of an engine’s requirements when designing a camshaft specifically for your needs.
