High-precision Camshaft re-profiling using the latest CNC technology

Piper Cams offers customers a full re-profiling service for existing camshafts, helping keep costs down where necessary or providing solutions in the event that we are not able to supply a new camshaft for a customer.

Using the same high-precision Landis and Berco CNC milling machinery we are able to re-grind your camshaft to the same high-performance specification as our new camshafts, giving the same results and quality finish.

Provided the camshaft you supply us is not damaged or showing signs of excessive wear, you can rest assured our re-profiling process will deliver you a performance camshaft to bring you the additional power you’re looking for.

For this service you will need to supply us with your existing camshaft.

Note: As we are regrinding your own camshafts you will need to make adjustments to external components in some applications to make sure you can achieve the correct valve clearances. In some cases this involves shimming and in others you may need to have cam carriers skimmed to bring the cam pack in to range.
